Terms & Conditions

Furnicare – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("T&C") govern all interior design, execution, and related services provided by Furnicare ("Company", "We", "Us") to the client ("Client", "You"). By accepting our quotation or making any payment, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Company Profile & Area of Operation

  • Furnicare is an interior design and execution company.

  • We currently do not operate any physical branch or showroom.

  • All work is executed only at the client’s site/project location.

  • Our services are offered in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, and Kalyan–Dombivali.

 

2. Quotation & Scope of Work

  • All project-specific details, including design scope, material specifications, payment slabs, timelines, inclusions, exclusions, and special conditions, will be clearly mentioned in the official quotation.

  • The quotation, along with these T&C, forms the complete and binding agreement between Furnicare and the Client.

  • Any item not explicitly mentioned as included in the quotation shall be treated as excluded.

  • Clients are requested to carefully review the inclusions and exclusions list before approving the quotation.

 

3. Payment Terms

  • Furnicare follows a slab-based payment structure, which will be mentioned in the quotation.

  • Advance payment is mandatory. Work will not commence without receipt of the advance payment.

  • Each payment slab must be fully cleared before the start of the corresponding stage of work.

  • Payment delays may result in:

    • Delay or suspension of work

    • Revision of project timelines

    • Additional costs, if applicable

  • Furnicare shall not be responsible for delays caused due to non-payment or late payment by the Client.

 

4. Project Timeline & Duration

  • The estimated project duration is indicative and depends on several factors, including but not limited to:

    • Timely selection and finalisation of designs, materials, colours, and finishes by the Client

    • Timely clearance of payments as per the agreed slabs

    • Site readiness and availability

    • Approvals from the housing society, builder, or local authorities

  • Any delay in the above factors may lead to extension of the project timeline, for which Furnicare shall not be held liable.

 

5. Client Responsibilities

  • The Client must ensure:

    • Site access during agreed working hours

    • Availability of electricity, water, and basic facilities at the site

    • Necessary permissions, NOCs, and approvals from society/building authorities

  • Any additional charges imposed by society or authorities (such as work deposits, lift charges, penalties, etc.) shall be borne entirely by the Client.

 

6. Design Changes & Additional Work

  • Any changes requested by the Client after quotation approval may:

    • Affect the project cost

    • Extend the project timeline

  • Additional or revised work will be executed only after written confirmation and additional payment approval by the Client.

 

7. Exclusions

  • Items, services, or materials not mentioned in the quotation are strictly excluded.

  • Common exclusions may include (unless specified otherwise):

    • Loose furniture

    • Electrical appliances

    • Decorative items, artefacts, or soft furnishings

    • Civil or structural changes beyond the defined scope

    • Lights, Light fittings, Switches, Plates, Sockets n all 

  • The Client is advised to refer to the exclusion list in the quotation for complete clarity.

 

8. Work Quality & Completion

  • Furnicare commits to delivering work as per approved designs and specifications.

  • Minor variations in shade, texture, or finish may occur due to the material’s nature and manufacturing processes and shall be considered acceptable.

  • Snag list or finishing issues, if any, must be reported at the time of handover or within the period specified in the quotation.

 

9. Cancellation & Suspension

  • If the Client chooses to cancel the project after work commencement:

    • Payments made to date shall not be refundable

    • The Client shall pay for work completed and materials procured

  • Furnicare reserves the right to suspend or terminate work in case of:

    • Non-payment

    • Breach of agreed terms

    • Unsafe or non-cooperative site conditions

 

10. Communication & Approvals

  • All approvals, confirmations, and changes should be communicated in writing (email or official messaging channels).

  • Verbal instructions without written confirmation shall not be binding.

 

11. Force Majeure

  • Furnicare shall not be liable for delays or non-performance due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural calamities, strikes, material shortages, government restrictions, or unforeseen site conditions.

 

12. Legal Jurisdiction

  • These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.

  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

 

13. Acceptance of Terms

  • The Client confirms that all terms, conditions, inclusions, exclusions, payment schedules, and timelines have been clearly understood and agreed upon before commencement of work.

  • Acceptance of the quotation or payment of advance shall be treated as full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
